1. Log Analyzer for Intrusion Detection (LAID) System:
Log Analyzer for Intrusion Detection system is system proposed to analyze any kind of log such
as IISW3C, NCSA, IIS, IISODBC, BIN, IISMSID, HTTPERR, URLSCAN, CSV, TSV, W3C, XML, EVT, ETW, NETMON, REG, ADS, TEXTLINE, TEXTWORD, FS, and COM; and analyzes them based on the administrator rules at any point of time. The above mentioned logs based on specific filters/rules (to be designed by the administrator) to detect intrusion or anomaly at any point of time or even to analyze the logs at a given instance.
2. Logical Gates Simulation using GATAN Network:
In this report we focus on a network called GATAN (Genetic Algorithm Trained Artificial Neural
Network), and will see how to implement a GATAN in C# .NET. We also practically see how GATAN is used to solve the mathematical functions AND, OR, and XOR (logical gates). While these functions may seem trivial, it provides an easy introduction to implement the neural network with a genetic algorithm. Once the neural networks evolve to solve the easiest of mathematical functions, one could create much more powerful networks.
MYthiNET is a personalized, flexible, low cost, secured and ubiquitous e-environment. The user works on a client and his workspace is in a high-end server, i.e. the user is virtually placed on a world of interconnected super computers. In this network the user is also free to select the operating system of his choice, every time he boots the client. The working procedure, constraints and feasibility report are given in the paper.
